Grab the installer from the download section of the Jellyfin website. Make sure to get the latest stable 64-bit version. 2. Run the installer, select the installation directory, and wait for the installation to finish. 3. Once installed, make sure to accept the firewall prompt. You can access Jellyfin at http://localhost:8096. 4. Set up a video library. Create a Windows folder and call it however you like. 5. Set up a user in Jellyfin. 6. Add a media library, choose the content type, and point it to the right folder. How to install Jellyfin on a Linux machine 1. In your terminal of choice grab this command and run it: “wget -O- https://repo.jellyfin.org/install-debuntu.sh | sudo bash” 2. Grant correct permissions to your media folder by entering this combination: “chgrp jellyfin ./JellyfinLibraryFolder" 3. Enter this combination as well: “chmod g+rwx ./JellyfinLibraryFolder” Installing NordVPN and setting up Meshnet on Linux 1.
