This feature allows you to route your internet traffic through another PC, provided it’s running Windows, MacOS, or Linux. It effectively makes your traffic look like it’s coming from within the same network that the PC is connected to. Take a look at this video to learn more about how to use NordVPN’s Meshnet. Once you’ve got everything set up, all you need to do is click “Route all traffic” underneath the target device in the Meshnet tab. A slightly more advanced approach would be creating a dedicated endpoint device within your home network. This is a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, and it will run you around $20.00. Add an SD card, a phone charger, and Meshnet to all this and you have a dedicated endpoint device that sips power. It also means you have a way to securely connect to the internet from anywhere in the world since the connection between the devices you’re routing is encrypted. Essentially, you create your own homebrewed VPN service. Of course, if you have some other unused device that runs Windows, MacOS, or Linux, it might also be a good choice for a dedicated endpoint. The most involved use case for the traffic routing feature is creating your own private VPN with the help of a Virtual Private Server. We covered this in one of our recent videos find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmdKRq649AA A quick recap – a Virtual Private Server is a virtual machine that you can rent or buy in order to host web applications and services or act as a full-blown server. You can leverage such a machine and set it up with NordVPN Meshnet to create your own personal VPN service, similar to a commercial one, although with certain limitations, which we also mentioned in the previous video. Whatever your use case may be for the routing feature, keep in mind that you should always limit access to your devices to users you know and trust. By default, this permission is disabled within Meshnet and should only be enabled for specific devices. *** 📌OUR SOCIAL MEDIA 📱 🔵FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/NordVPN/ 🔵INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/nordvpn/ 🔵TIKTOK: https://www.tiktok.com/@nordvpn 🔵TWITTER: https://twitter.com/NordVPN #NordVPN #Meshnet #TrafficRouting
