CEO of Azra Games, Mark Otero, is joined by Ken Walton to talk about the economy, ecosystem, and future direction of Azra's first game and NFT release! Mark Otero's Accomplishments: (1) Former GM of EA Capital Games launched Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, over $1B in revenue, 100M+ downloads, and EA's most successful mobile game 6 years in a row. (2) Launched 8 Collectables & Combat RPG free2play games on Facebook, open web, and mobile across diverse genres (sci-fi / dystopian / fantasy / super hero) and IPs (Star Wars & Dragon Age). (3) Co-Founded KlickNation and grew studio from 2 to 70+ in 18 months, a highly successful free2play RPG game maker acquired by Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA). How I became a core game designer: (4) Over 10+ years of paper-and-dice dungeon master for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD & D) and BattleTech tabletop mech combat game. Started programming on Commodore 64 in the '80s, and created my first RPG video game in high school on IBM with w/ASCII graphics. (5) Games that inspired me: Ultima 2 & 4, Pool of Radiance, Phantasy 2 & 3, Bard's Tale, Might & Magic, The PIT (BBS game), Baldur's Gate, Diablo 2 Taiyo Robotics Information: 2,121 Robots that have been manufactured on the Solana blockchain. They have been created to protect the world against giant monsters that have plagued the earth. Taiyo Robotics was acquired by Solport Tom on the 22nd of December 2021 when the floor price was 2 sol. The community had lost complete faith in the project. It became clear that the old developers didn't want to continue with the project and were heading down the path of a slow rug. Taiyo now consists of two road maps the official Taiyo roadmap, which is Taiyo-exclusive products, and then the value-add road-map which focuses on Solport.io a community driven marketplace powered by the Taiyo community. As of the time of us writing this, it's been 1 month and 16 days since the project was "de-rugged". Taiyo in now thriving with real leadership with a proper dev team behind the wheel.
